What's new

New

• A full-page Manage tab. Click the gear in the sidebar header, or "Manage cards" at the bottom of your card list, to open all your cards in a full browser tab. You can also reach it from Chrome's "Extension options."
• Every card at a glance. Cards show as a grid of tiles. Search by text, tag or character, narrow down by tag or character, and see how many cards match.
• Edit without a chat open. Click any tile to edit, duplicate or delete it, or write new cards from the page. Changes show up in open sidebars right away.
• Put cards in your own order. Drag tiles around (or press Alt + arrow keys) and the sidebar follows the same order. You can also sort by newest, oldest, A to Z or tag, and keep that sort as your order.
• Export and import. Save your cards and characters to a file as a backup or to move them to another computer. When importing, choose to add the new cards to yours (duplicates are skipped) or replace yours, with an undo right after.
• Restore starter cards brings back any of the starter cards you deleted.
• Settings in one place: send options, which side the sidebar opens on, and image blurring.

Improved

• New cards now go at the top of your list, and a duplicate sits right after the card it came from.
• The ready-made OOC card now uses the character's name: "What is name thinking and feeling right now?" If you still have the original card unedited, it updates on its own. Edited copies are left alone.

New

• Out-of-character notes. Cards tagged OOC go in as (OOC: your note), after whatever you've typed. Click the blank OOC card to write a note right on the card, then press Enter or Add. Nothing reaches the chat box until the note is finished, so an early Enter can't send half a note.
• Secrets AI picks up names on its own. QuickCue now reads the character's name on Secrets AI and follows along as you switch companions, so name cards fill in without asking.
• Four new starter cards: a blank OOC note, a ready-made OOC card ("What is the character I'm talking to thinking and feeling right now?"), a Narrative card that nudges a stalled story ("name continues"), and a Prompt card ("What's my horoscope for today?"). If you already use QuickCue, they're added to the top of your list once. Delete any you don't want and they stay gone.
• Version number in the sidebar, next to the QuickCue name.

Improved

• The emoji tray starts closed to give your cards more room. Its button now reads "Emoji" with an arrow, so it's clear it opens a tray. Open it once and it stays open.
• The send option you've picked is highlighted in gold, so you can tell at a glance whether a click inserts or sends.

Fixed

• A loaded card no longer loses its Cancel button when a site changes the tab's title partway through a chat.

Privacy: on Secrets AI, QuickCue reads the name from the message box's hint text ("Message Ellie"). It still never reads your conversation. The privacy policy is updated to say so.
